Nissan S12 Silvia White Versions
Japanese Domestic Market Limited Edition Models
Introduced in late 1986, towards the end of the production run of the MKII S12 Silvia in Japan, Nissan introduced 3 special version models. These models were marketed as high-end fashionable variants of the S12 with new luxury features and specifications setting them apart from the rest of the S12 line-up.
These White Version models are the Twin Cam Turbo Full White RS-X, the Turbo Full White R-X, and the R-X White Select.
New all-white special version added to the line-up.

Twin Cam Turbo Full White RS-X
The Twin Cam Turbo Full White RS-X is the flagship model of the new white versions. With the all-white paint split by a sporty red and grey belt-line and special decals on the doors, the Full White RS-X is a new look for the Silvia range. Equipped with the PLASMA-CA18DET and an all new interior and sound system, Nissan presented this model as the sportiest and most comfortable Silvia in their line-up.

Turbo Full White R-X
The Turbo Full White R-X sits in the middle of the new 3 model White Version series. It is based on the Silvia Turbo R-X and it carries the same features and accessories as the flagship Full White RS-X, but is instead fitted with a CA18ET engine. The single camshaft CA engine is rated at 135PS instead of the Full White RS-X’s 145PS. The Full White R-X is fitted with a brown interior the same as the Silvia Turbo R-X.
The Turbo Full White R-X is not pictured in any of the Nissan marketing material.

R-X White Select
The R-X White Select is the base model of the White Versions and is quite basic compared to its superiors. Equipped with a CA18S carbureted CA engine, it is rated at 100PS. The interior is also of lower specification, missing out on the special black Russel Cloth treatment of the Full White RS-X, instead featuring the brown interior equivalent to the standard MKII R-X Silvia. The R-X White Select is also stripped of the exterior finishing parts, the front lip, side and rear pods.
