Quite possibly if yuo had the machining tools and patience. Your biggest problem is the oil pump. It's smaller than the CA18DET item, and wasting all that nice oil pressure on cooling pistons is going to cause surges and spun bearings. I believe this may be the big problem with the CA18DETs love of lunching big end bearings.

Nah, their problem is pumping too much oil up into the head, and starving the pick-up.

Only way to fix it, is to fit a smaller block-to-head oil feed restrictor, and fit an external drain back to the sump on the rear of the exhaust side of the head. Mind you, this is really only necessary for CAs that cop a beating frequently. Nismo oil pumps are just a waste of money because of this.

Stock motors will get away with frequent oil and filter changes (Always do both), just to keep the whole lubrication system nice and clean, to aid drain-back.

Umai is correct as usual. Can i tell you that the age old myth of "must have high oil preasure" is all crap and does bugger all to help your engine life. Its all about temperature constant preasure and supply which means getting it back to the sump after its done its job. Reputable Race engine builders look for around 40psi and believe thinner is better and thats where they gain power on the engine dyno. Thicker oil under and more preasure = power loss on an engine dyno.

Well the big block is pretty much ready for the road. Just an electrical gremlin stopping the works. The rebuilt alternator (which had been proven to work 100%) won't charge. Should abe a 5 min thing to fix for our uber zappy. So this week for sure it's on-the-fookin-road!!
