Bought this today for $400. The engine runs pretty well, but it's had a front ding so it needs a little work. If I can't get it RWC within a month I guess I'll just strip it.

Lol come on Roger, $400 is pretty cheap for a car with rego! And yeah live axle :P . I pulled the dented panels off today and got happy with a hammer, then pulled the eyes out of a 180 to fix that. The lights still aren't working so I've pulled the indicator stalk off and have cleaned the terminals and will test it out tomorrow. Pics tomorrow maybe :P.

Pulled the bent panels off and removed the broken lights etc. Sorry for the crappy quality photo's, I can't find the battery charger for my camera atm :( so I'm using my phone camera.

I'll try to get some better quality pics soon. Still to do: sort the lights out so they work.... find parker and indicator lights for drivers side and install them. (I got really stingy and have pretty much fixed the parker with a soldering iron as a welder on the cracks, so now I just need to put some plastic over and hopefully find something to diffuse the light like the stock ones. I've also clean the terminals on the indicator stalk and put some di-electric grease on where necessary. I also changed several blown fuses. I'm hoping this will fix some of the issues like lights, still haven't tested it yet lol.

Sam,
I had a similar problem when a dum feemail delivery driver came through a give way sign and caused $5400 worth of damage. I replaced the light with a new one from Gerry b, but I didn't change the light motor. It blew fuses until I replaced it with a new one ( motor that is ) as for wiring of lights, mine is the same as yours, l/hand is linked through r/hand and it workes fine. I had my nephew check it out ( he is an auto electrition ) and he said it is fine.

If the pop-ups are siezed or jammed, they'll pop fuses like they're going out of style.

Also, your door handle is in the mail with Roger's coilovers ;)

If you need anymore parts to straighten this new rig out, let me know. I've got a spare et of pup-ups with motors here, too.

If I disconnect the pop up motor's will that continue to blow fuses? I've had a look at the wiring diagram but don't really understand it :S
