1984 S12, second owner of this fine old beast. Kinda old, something happened with the wiring so I had to tow it back a few weeks ago.

or so they claim. But it looks like it was a beater, but then again the spedo does say 137k miles.
Today I'm going to tinker around with her, and see if I can revive her again.

Hey there man. Didnt realize another relatively local guy joined. So, where in OR are you? Btw, although all blue s12s look the same, but it looks very similar to one I sold to a bloke in Or as well. :P

Sorry it's been a while since I've replied here. Been really busy lately, found out the head was toast, just got it rebuilt. Today I'm going to start cleaning up more of the ca20e, get the names of the hoses I need to replace since I decided to cut them when I pulled the head off. I'll give more details of what's been going on in my project post yet to come.

I'm in Redmond Oregon 20 miles north of Bend OR. I picked her up in Yakima WA, according to the title it's been in yakima since 2004, and according to that owner their father owned it since 84... so fun stuff. Enjoyable that everything but the motor works right now lol.

Ideally I want to get her going, up and reliable then drift ready by june. So I can only hope!

Ha ha drifting on a CA20E :suicide_anim:

Imo I wouldent waste to my money on the old CA20E, I would upgrade to a KE24 or preferably a CA18DET asap!

money is already wasted actually, now to blow it up and get it ready for a swap. I think it will make it threw 1 weekend of intense drifting terror in the woods this summer @ hoodoo. But a by then I'll have a KA24 ready for the swap.
