Haha I doubt it Colin. Parts are pretty expensive and not many people are willing to pay for labor. Plus I don't have a lathe to machine the bushings. I had to bore out that bronze one by hand with Andrew. I was supposed to use steel, but there's no way I'd be able to bore it out with just my hand tools. The way that bushing works is fine because it only fills up a gap(lateral load). The monoball itself sits on the top hat and upper spring perch once it's tightened down. If it had to hold longitudinal load then I definitely would have opted for the steel sleeve. But anyway, for most people it's cheaper and more convenient to just buy off the shelf coilovers. More cost effective for the consumer and it looks better.

Swapped out the infamous cracked taillight haha.

Some goodies from Sterling. 15mm wheelspacer I believe. I have a 25 for the back haha.
I'll get some shots of the car soon!

Got a rebuilt rack and tore it apart for steering angle spacers.

Swapped my A-1 tie rod ends over. Pretty good condition still. Not much play and not bent at all.

Also replace the blown junkyard balljoints on the S13 arm.

Forgot to update this a while back, but I threw in my s13 delrin mounts back in December.

I also had switch my ca18ET brackets to DET brackets again because I was using the S12 motor mounts. Now that I switched to the S13 style mounts. I had to use my S13 CA18DET brackets again. Good thing I saved them! Motor vibrates a bit at idle, but it's not that bad. Transmission shifting is solid. The shifter doesn't wiggle much at all on acceleration and deceleration, so shifting up or down is awesome. At highway speeds there isn't any vibrations from the engine/trans at all. It runs super smooth. Definitely worth the money and much cheaper than OEM replacement.
This is a track/aggressive setup. so I wouldn't recommend this for most people. I went with this because I was being cheap LOL. I wish these mounts were designed a bit better, like being a delrin isolated mount, versus a delrin spacer with a bolt straight through. But that doesn't matter anymore since these make driving the car so much more fun hahaha.

Removed the old extended camaro studs and returned them to Henry. They were 1.5 thread pitch and I didn't want to use them since I only have a bunch of 1.25 thread pitch lugs. After that I bolted some spacers to push the stock wheels out. No money for wheels at the moment haha.

Haha I haven't decided yet. I'm debating between motor work or wheels. Right now I just want to get it back on the road, since I'm not dailying this anymore. I need to swap the rack again, because I got a crappy remanufactured rack. It'll be free so I'm not too worried. Then I need to take care of the seat bracket issue. It's too high up and too close to the cage. Other than that I'll see when I get there.

Yeah common problem with the seats being to high. I need to redo mine also since it is sitting too high too.

I've always ran synthetic since I've gotten this motor and it shows. SOO CLEAN. The valve cover gaskets were leaking bad so I just went ahead to replace them. I found out that the rest of my rubber hoses are all shot so I need to tear the motor and just redo all of the hoses(coolant and vacuum). That'll be later on, of course. I still need to address the steering rack(UGHH).
Also, I've decided to just run the car as is(after alignment of course), until something pops, since I already have a daily. After the registration is up next year I'm going to re-evaluate the car and decide what to do from there. For now I'll just keep posting small updates!

So I ran into problems at home and the S12 was put on hiatus for a while. I was really close to selling it due to hard times, BUT I tried my best to keep it and I'm glad I did. My living situation is much better now and there's space for me to store my car as well as work on it. Now I just need to make time between work and school to keep it going. More updates to come!
