So the plans are to built a track-spec S12.

The plans:

- S13 front conversion (control arms, tension rods, the whole sjebang)
- S13 front swaybar
- S14 calipers
- Sturdy rear swaybar links
- CA18DET engine swap
- Aluminium radiator with slimfans
- Intercooler
- Oil cooler
- Rollcage
- New bucketseat (old one to passengersside)
- New steeringwheel
- New exhaustline
- Cutting the bulge out of the floorpan to lower the seat
- Shortshifter
- Rust repairs
- Bodykit
- Custom aero works
- Painting the lowerside of the car black for two-tone black/red

And maybe i forgot a shitload, but we'll find out as we go..

Nice MKII you have on your hands mate. I personally think she doesn't needs body kits and aero work, it looks tough the way it is. Welcome to the forums anyway, I look forward to seeing a build thread on your car

Yeah.. Still not sure either about the outside of the car.. weither or not to do bodykit.. Gonna be expensive and very labour intensive make..

On the otherside.. A modest clean bodykit wouldn't be that bad i guess.. No big bumpers or anything.. Just things that can be usefull during TimeAttack/track days..

But we'll see.. First things first and that's suspension and performance..

It has been a while since I worked on the Sil12. But I've done some work a few days ago.. Project has come to a standstill a few times, due to jobswitch/being unemployed for a month or so.. And bad weather/lack of motivation..

Been working on mounting the suspension parts. Up til this fase everything fits. Hope it all goes well when the car hits the ground..

BC Racing coils
MeganRacing control arms
Whiteline 28mm swaybar
S14 brakes
Driftworks braided brakelines

And bought myself some Re-Amemiya replica wingmounts.. Almost a direct fit.. A little modification needed and a nice deck and we got downforce..

Those wing mounts fit great! Is that straight out the box?
Definitely looking forward to seeing it with a wing on.

The front setup looks great. Are you also installing new bushes?

On the frontside everything is new/aftermarket. So no new bushes needed there.

For the rest, the rears.. I don't know yet.. The the most logic thing to do is to replace them. But I really wan't to test this setup as it is now. And change them when necessary.

The photo of the wingmounts is straight out of the box.

The vertical side of the wingmount deviates a little from the trunklid. Also, it hits the reflectorplate. Got 2 options. Cut the reflectorplate or modify the wingmounts..
