The 720 ute runs a H190 diff & is good if your looking for a 4.11- 4.3 gear sets or some other low ratio
IRS s12 nearly always came with a 4.11 & that is perfect!
check on your vin plate the last letters at the bottom should say RB41 for 4.11

Live Axle or IRS?
I'm in Ballajura, 15 mins north of the Perth CBD.SUZPCT wrote: Hey Mate
I'm in Secret Harbour about 15min south of Rockingham. I literally got the car last Thursday after a 10 day wait for it to come over from Victoria. I have been doing heaps of research into it and there is so much info I am just trying to decifer it all haha. How about you mate, where abouts are you? Have you done much to your car? Any recommendations for workshops in the area? I had a workshop on the south side install a new clutch on my Evo today and he happened to have a SR20Det motor and bellhousing sitting in the workshop but think I need to get it registered before I go getting ahead of myself. Any help you could give would be great. Cheers
Haven't done much to my car yet, so I can't really tell you a lot about workshops etc. I've got some plans, but I'm not really in the financial situation to be working on the old girl at the moment.

Yeah I hear ya. Will be converting the CA20E to a SR20DET at some point but I think my priority is to get the car registered so that I can drive it and then take it off the road once all the parts are there for the swap. Do you go to any of the JDMWA cruises?
