Yep, it's the 'correct' Soarer badge, not the poxy Lexus one that all the importers seem keen to slap on them.

The kit for the Green Machine arrived today. It's a Brian front bar & what looks like a set of Vertexish side skirts. This as well as the flares I also got recently will be used to fit some 17x9 +20 rims & Federal RSR 235/255 tyres under the old girl.

No pics as the garage is a warzone & procrastination is winning.

I've booked her into GT Auto Garage for mid September for a cage & to get the SR rebuilt. We'll decide on cams/turbo then (probably HKS). I have a GT30 but it's a touch too big as the compressor housing hits the engine mount. Fixable but I think it'll be too laggy for sprints anyway. The aim now is for 350rwhp.

If she can't do a 57 second lap of Lakeside with all that I'll be disappointed. Stay tuned.

Green Machine update: The SR20 rebuild is progressing well. It'll now have CP forged pistons, Eagle forged rods, ACL race bearings, HKS head gasket.

Big Block update: It's now wearing some Keiichi Tsuchia 17"x9" +19 rims on a 5 stud conversion. It also has ISC coilovers, S14 castor brackets & adjustable castor arms & lower control arms. R32 GTR brakes (non-Brembo). It'll have some Toyo R888 245/40/17's all round. Grip shouldn't be as much of a problem now. Engine still needs another rebuild. It may get some forged parts as well next year.

I feel like that would be against the big blocks nature.

It will eventually make the trip to Ralph's one day for a coat of Nissan Midnight Purple, but for now it's the dev car with the Green Machine doing the track time.

The Green Machine is back on track. It's had a rebuild & the GT3071 is on but no cage yet.

It came off the dyno Friday morning, I had it on track running it on that arvo (did about 40 laps) & all went well other than an air lock in the power steering pump that fixed itself overnight. Took it out again today & did a 1:05 on a very greasy, dirty track that only got worse as light, then torrential rain hit in the arvo.

Very happy with the power already (about 200rwkw same as the Big Block) on just 8psi.

Pics will hopefully be forthcoming.
