CA20DET powered Gazelle

I have used a lot of brand name gear on the car I know, but it's all been carefully put together to achive the best outcome for a price. Once the organic spacer between the seat and the steering wheel can keep up to the car it'll be even faster. I have a SAAS 2" harness and it cuts the sh** out of my shoulders so this will be a hell of a lot more comfortable. Also being a 6 point vs 3 point it wont ride up around my lower chest when it should be in my lap. Thankfully the FJ shifter is closer to the seat and wheel so I'll easily reach it in any gear, another prob I had before the box change with the big rig style long throw CA shifter.

All I have to do now is squeeze my fat arse into the Bride :o

Looks pretty darn nice.

Trying to figure out ur piping for the FMIC is it a side one or a dual pass?

Fuel pressure regulator required with your mod? or just a safety thing?

Thanks guys.

FMIC is a Trust FJ20 DR30 item and had pipes on the same side so the pipe coming across the frot of the motor goes where the air con pipes would normally go, plus I got a slightly smaller new radiator core.

Fuel press reg is there for the Trust 550cc injectors. I didn't know if the stock reg would be good enough & didn't want any fluctuations leaning out the motor & making it go pop or overpressurising it & popping something else. It's a Sard.

It's clean enough, but still serious enough. It's no show pony & never wil be.

Getting faster all the time with tweaks, parts & the organic spacer behind the wheel doing it's job of keeping up to the rest of the car.

I've spent a fair bit of time at Lakeside & QR lately & have some new PB times to show for it:

Lakeside Lap (2.41km): 1:04.21 - http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=z3OA6m3VYjk
QR Sprint Lap (1.89km): 1.01.8479 - http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=ygYzypHbFtE

I've now found the limit of EBC Red pads and I'm cooking them most sessions so a new set of rotors are on the cards cause the current ones have heat stress fractures in them. The Silverstones are good but I think I can get another second on each track if I move to Dunlops after speaking to/racing against some others at the Top Gear Sprints.

Looks quick! Motor looks fine as well, you should be very pleased!
Those wipers would be annoying me though... Are they lifting to the point that they start by themselves or are you turning them on to get them to go back down?

What pad & rotor combo do you have in mind?

Yeah I have to remove the wipers or they lift off the screen & turn on all by themselves over 170kph. To put those lap times into perspective there's an R32 GTR (0.9bar, HKS 3.75" exhaust & Mines ECU, Buddy Club coilovers, Federal 595SS tyres) running 1:01.5 on the QR sprint track, so yeah I'm happy :D

I have R33 GTST 4 pots to go on the front but that means I can't use any of my current wheels, so I'm looking into some front wheels (16x8 +30ish - Doriteks or similar) to go over them. Other than that I'll go to EBC yellows and DBA slotted rotors for the 180SX big single pots on there now.

Rear brakes are Turd S3 TRX discs that work a treat. I have some 2 pot R33s to put back there, but I'm going to wait until I've used teh 4 pots with the TRXs before deciding to mod up a braket & probably change wheels to clear. It's all looking very expensive but I should drop up to a second in the overall upgrade.
