Cops love wheels sticking out the guards.

If he wants to run those wheels, let him.

The options are there to run bolt ons or massively manipulated guards.

I personally wouldnt. But its not my car. It is a defect waiting to happen though.

I feel I should add something to this.

Wait until you've fitted everything, and dialed some sort of wheel alignment into it. THEN work out what needs to be changed.

You will find that having the ability to adjust camber will greatly increase your chances of getting the rims to fit. If they still stick out too far, revert back to S12 LCAs and appropriate balljoints, and have some R31 castor rods machined down. Also, you can always go to a 195/50/15.

The best thing about these cars is the various suspension and steering combinations you can have, to achieve whatever result you're after.

I should get all the front sus back in to day just modding the s13 rack ends! so I can put the rack back in.

Wheels should go back on the front for some pics.

I think it may be that the s13 hubs stick out more than the s12 adding to the length the wheels stick out, as well as the s13 lca's! & you cant not use them or your sr turbo brakes wont fit!

Smaller wheels are the only way to make it work & last more than a week on the road! or you will be DEFECTED

I no you like to be different Luke (& u like the att), but give up on thoses wheels on the front!

james wrote:Luke, ever considered that once you do the rear disc conversion, your rears will also stick out more..

Still, those wheels are just SEXY. I think some serious flares when it gets painted, front and rear.

Perhaps run stockies until then??
the rears sat flush from what i remember. if not perfect, so even a 15mm increase in track wont hurt, especially seeing as his rears has only slight been rolled and not pulled/flared out.

does anyone know what the actual track increase is from running the s13 gear in the front?

luke, a wheel repair shop can machine down the hub center of your wheels, possibly enough to bring them down to say, +10 or +15.
DO NOT get rid of those wheels. simply modify them.

if u were on the gold coast id machine them for u for free, just coz i wanna see them on the car :P

by the way YOUR SHINY NEW COOLER PIPES are in teh post buddy! hope u like them adn dont have too much hassle fitting them.

cheers
