luke came around the otherday and showed me the rsx.
its a nice car, abit ragged around the edges and needs some lovin mechanicly, but a nice car. If it were mine luke id be fast spending money on fixing/removing powersteering, flow test injectors and replace em or seals as req, re-seal timing cover and get a tune before anything else.

I would be spending $$$ on fixing the power steering not removing it because the fj is no light weight ca, the fj s12 is not light (60-75kg heaver & the some, than a ca) & would be a bitch to park with no power sterring. Or you could remove the power steering & spend the $$$ you saved at the gym
Luke will prob fix the bent drivers gaurd & door then the rust near the antena after fitting smaller brakes & hellaflush 15" wheels for street cred first!
What will be first on the list luke?

this thread delivers.
stop having a go at him, so what he bought a car, a wise move on his behalf. Luke knows he fu**ed up and should have done this in the beginning, but instead took the hard road with no knowledge or any idea about building his s12. he took on a task he wasnt capable of, but in this process gained a whole not of knowledge and learned a few things along the way.
who gives a fu**, stop all your bitching and harden the fu** up, its a car at the end of the day.
jimme_be your a fu**ing tool, get over it. don't see why you have an issue with luke, hes never done anything to you so why are you attacking him, seems like you the one who hasn't hit adulthood yet.(maybe a while off)

No one has an issues with Luke & no one is attacking or is having a go at him realy, its just when he says somthing wrong, stupid or dumd, someone on here with knowledge will point it out to him.JACKHAMMER wrote:Luke took on a task he wasnt capable of, but in this process gained a whole lot of knowledge and learned a few things along the way.

I agree Luke did learn heaps & buying the rsx was the best way to go.
IMO This site would be a lot better if it was s12 owners only, other car sites like GTI-R OZ work this way. But if it was this way I think we would have F**k all members!

yeah wtf scott, if you want the gaz then your more than welcome to.
And as for Brad, the S12 intake will be going on first, a service, new radiator, and what darryn said.
Getting the motor to work perfectly and not have a major idling issue is top priority. That is a promise.
Then after that, new suspension all round.
I have already painted the fiberglass duckwing I have spare. And it should be going on this weekend too.

Yep, sure - ok buddy. I have no real issue with Luke, but I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to give my opinion on his trials and tribulations on a public forum. Well, at least that's what you're doing regarding my posts - but lets not delve into the the hypocrisy shown by those that are posting from high up on their pedestal. That'd just bring out more tough guys calling other 'keyboard warriors' or telling people to harden up with the authority they've gained from skimming through a couple hundred words of opinion. It seems you've learnt how to quote my post - so perhaps you should now go back and re-read the contents of them.JACKHAMMER wrote:this thread delivers.

And for the record, when Luke was doing his S12 project at Brads (while I was building my datto there), I gave Luke the usual hard time about him having a boat anchor (aka FJ) as I run CA's - but other than that I gave him a hand, advice and had a few yarns with him. But that's ok - go ahead and continue commenting on something you are showing you know SFA about.
