so what happens to the ca20det that car/engine still goin to exist?

It is of course staying, hes going to have two fully built S12s

The big block isn't going anywhere and it's curently the street/sprints car and may still do some sprints even when the Stoogemobile gets to the track. All depends on what I want to enter as sprints must be a road registered car.

The big block dominated group 3 in the sprints yesterday. I put on the Silverstone tarmac rally tyres and my god they've got some grip. I'm having to re-learn the track again as I can now turn in late and also brake stupidly late and not lock up. I rocketed by a Pug 306 under braking FFS, & that thing is good too.

The Camaro I shared the pit bay with did the same time and he was in Group 2, so I'll be up there with the big boys next time. Group 1 is dominated by sub-60 second GTRs, 911 GT3s, etc so I won't be getting in there any time soon.

3 things to do for next time are, modify & mount Bride seat rail and seat; make mount plates for the 3 point SAAS harness; and make a camera mount.

Hey i spotted your car at QR but i was flat out in our workshop repairing drive day V8s then came over for a chat after the sprints but you had left. Catch you next time. Ralph
