I've just fitted a R31 Pintara alternator to my S12 and for some reason none of my lights are working (e.g. headlights, dash lights). I've noticed that the standard plug of the S12 alternator has 2 nodes in a T shape, where as the Pintara alternator has only 1 (e.g. shaped like this "-").

Can I get some advice as to what is causing this?

Also would the V Belt (ribbed) I put onto a flat v belt pulley be a problem?

Well got it running, but with a different alternator that had similar two prong setup. Had to get female connectors spliced into harness to get it working.
