ok starting to play around with the car again with some spare time i have.
had a day off today so went down to have a look and go over my notes of where i left off.

this is what i have done with the wiring. think it was off club s12 and what ever else i could find. .

all relays are fused relays

ecu relay
pin 30 - just to a switch then to the battery)
pin 87 - black /white wire (i went into ecu slot 59 for that)
pin 85 - ground
pin 86 - ignition on (just looped back around into pin 30)

so its either i have been skrewed over twice on the ecu and there all ready dead or something i am doing has killed them.. two lights (red/green) on which apparently mean there stuffed??

fuel pump relay

pin 30 - just to a switch then to the battery
pin 87 - to fuel pump
pin 85 - went to ground.(said to go to black purple on the ecu but then it doesn't start so i just earthed it instead, does this matter?)
pin 86 - ignition on (just looped back around into pin 30)

fuel pump works and flows etc, so no issue there...yet

ignition relay (is this what gives the engine spark??)
this is where i think im stuffing up?

pin 30 - just to a switch then to the battery
pin 87 -bigger Black /Red wire from ecu (slot 45 on ecu) so i connect that from the ecu to the relay then splice into that with the L (blue)/ red wire which i get from connector F8 ??
pin 85 - ground
pin 86 - ignition on (just looped back around into pin 30)
so i splice into the black white wire

then-
i wired the ecu slot 58 red wire to permanent power
spliced the orange wire from the ecu second connection to the black yellow on the ignition barrel.
all black wires are grounded
done the detonation sensor wire in shielded wire to the white wire on the ecu slot 23

so i get fuel etc from the gtr pump..no issue.

the ECU gets power because the diagnostic lights go on, but there both on on the two ecus i have. just skrewed over on the ecu? or have i done something wrong?

engine turns over from the starter motor but not getting spark.

so i am guessing its from wither the ecu being dead not sending the signal? or is it from me wiring up the ignition and also a dead ecu????

any help is appreciated guys. thanks

oh also, i checked the cas sensor etc and it all seems ok no broken pins etc, and i have swapped the dropping resisters etc with the spares i have from the other loom.

from memory there was no power at all into that loom, so i dont know if its the way i have wired up the ignition relay or if its the ecu if its dead?

but judging from the wiring diagrams im pretty sure i have done it properly with what i wrote how i done it? might have to unravel the engine loom (still in its cover/tae)and make sure there is no cut wires or surprises in there causing problems perhaps. just want to drive it all ready XD
