Firstly, apologies for not being around much. But there’s been a few things on the plate.

Biggest news is the additions to the family. My baby Girl Lucinda and little boy pup Kobe.

Kobe is a 6 months old Shiba Inu. A Japanese pure bred, from WA, who’s father was a Champion in Japan.

Lucinda (or Lucy for short) is now 6 weeks.

But I guess the most relevant news for everyone here is that the Gazute is in the workshop with coin ready to be spent. Time now becoming the only issue. :(

I have removed the sound deadening throughout and I have a pair of new Sparco seats, to go in. That will happen once the removable (ballistics style) tunnel is completed when we fit the engine and gearbox in. Once we’ve worked out where I can sit, that’s when the cage, steering column and peddles can be fit to suit.

The tyre well is now no longer and depending on the plan of attack with the panel beater, mechanic and myself it should be getting a whole new internal floor from a Nissan “family donor”.

The topic of tubbing has come up and it looks like it’s more easily done now than it ever will be down the track, so it’ll probably happen both front and rear.

I've also discovered the enjoyment of dirt bikes, so that will be a speed release while the Gazute's still in building mode.

Will get pics soon :) Will also keep you all in the loop with additonal. ;)

Hooray! You are alive! Best be alive when I come visiting at the end of this year or else I'll exhume your dead body and kill you a second time.

Heya mate!

Seen some pics floating around on Facebook of your new arrival, congratulations to you guys! And your dog looks awesome, I want one like that.

Good to hear that the project will be picking up some steam soon. Has been a long term project, will be good to see some stuff happening and see some pictures of progress.

Take it easy!

Haha, thanks guys.

Yeah, FB has a bit of the Gaz up there, both the new and the old.

Luke, would love to, but need to organise to get my L's first. I've borrowed the inlaws neighbors bike for a bash around the paddocks. Once up to speed, I'll gladly be taken out.

The in-laws property backs on to Mt. Dissapointment State Park and Kinglake National Park... so no shortage of tracks once I get my own.

Wow... That's slightly disheartening! I know it's been a few years... but knowing people have seen me sitting on my hands :(

Oh well, body progress is due to start start this week all going well. Providing the donor of some componenets follows through, we'll be set to go ahead and butcher the floor :)

So, for those not on the FB world... I have another update.

The little lady is now 5 months old and breaking hearts constantly... I'm going to need a good scope on a sniper rifle to keep the boys at bay when she's older....

Kobe is still an awesome pup that get's asked about and commented on everywhere we go - 9months old now.

Also there is a certain R33 rear floor sitting not too far from a floorless rear S12... ;)

Once the rear end is sorted to the point of rolling again, I'll be installing the engine gearbox combo and starting on the tunnel mods. Once that is completed, the cage will be going in.

Question for those reading, does anyone know the length between the standard CA20e bell housing and the shifter location? For guestimation purposes. The seat looks like it's going to be floor mounted nearing the back seat at this stage... weight centralisation to the MAX... ;)
