Mint.... White paint hides a lot of things, trust me.

More than welcome to join any NDSOC activity - don't have to be a paid up member to begin with. We've had a few Epic events of late, that's for sure.

Well today was very successful. I met a lot of great friendly people and saw a hell of a lot of very nice cars. I couldn't believe I saw seven R100' in the same place.

I was overwhelmed being a fly on the wall hearing all the praise and positive feedback for the S12, she was quite a hit surprisingly. I hadn't even pulled up and she had drawn a crowd. Anyway, here is a bit of a photo dump

Seems I got there a bit late, I didn't see some of those. Was some cool stuff there, I'm a big fan of the 30 Union, those pics don't do it justice.

G'day.

Lukemonty, your S12 stole the show in my book - nice work. Bugger the fleet of R100's, go the S12 FJ20.......

Good to see some other S12's out and about also. Should have run mine in.

Kind words SFort - Thanks heaps. It's a desired taste r30's, hard to get them to look right in my opinion. I am struggling. The rear with STD Guards is brilliant - 16 x 9 fit nicely and I can run a lot lower due to coilovers. But I can't run the front too low due to sump being too low - that's why mines high ish. I'm Trying to find 2 SSR Mesh 17 x 8 for the front (a way of cheating I guess) to fix the issue.

Anyway, great day. Hope to see some more of you there next year.

Mike.

Mike, that really is a beautiful Skyline. It looks perfect! Nice work.

A DR30 has always been on my list of cars to own. One day, hopefully. Do you have any more pictures, or a link to a build thread? Very keen to see more of it.

And Luke. Your RS-X is unbelievably awesome. Sex, in car form. I bet it was nice to finally get it out to a show in its current state and show it off a little. Nice work mate! You have built the best S12 Silvia on this planet.

Matt.

Cheers, thanks mike and Matt. The friend of mine who I took to the show is not a car guy, and he asked me "why are so many people looking at your motor?" I think the funnier thing was seeing his facial expression every time the exhaust scrapped on the ground when we went over bumps. By the look of it he thought the floor was going to fall out of the car. Probably doesn't help that I lowered the car another inch for the car show :)
