hi everyone. i just picked up a s12 as a project to keep me busy. the previous owner has pulled out all the wiring and fitted a nissan exa body loom, i have no idea why but thats what is there, all the lights are connected but the real sh** fight is at the dash. all the connections for the dash are wrong

is this a commonly done thing with s12's that have had a ca18 put in? or did this guy smoke 2 much crack?

would i be better off finding a body loom from another s12 and starting again?

if so does anyone have a s12 body loom?

thanks in advance

definitely needed to put down the crack pipe!!

that's mental.

at the very lease I'd suggest you should get a S12 dash loom. this will give you all the correct plugs and wire colours so you can work out where the exa wires are supposed to connect to and swap plugs where needed.

to begin with, where are you located?

will i be able to get the car running by just providing power to the ecu and fuel pump then making my own switched for ignition/startermotor?

so fully ignore all the exa wiring in the car?

i have a full s12 engine and interior loom but i would need to go and remove it from my parts car. if u want it let me know. doing it with an exa loom is ridiculous.
