Nice! How much did they set you back? I remember it being around $200 if my memory serves me well?

They were $375.00 for the pair.

For what they are, they're unbelievable value for money. They're Australian-made, and pretty much shit all over anything else on the market.

He's always looking to expand his range, and is currently looking into doing a complete S13/14/etc LCA/castor rod assembly like the Ikeya Formula ones, but much cheaper, and with the ability to rebuild them. Props to you Matty, for getting some of his gear. You wont regret it!

Good to hear they are so highly rated, can't wait to get them fitted!

Ooooooooooo.... I should be in touch with you blokes. I had to get Kazama ones. They are great as well but always down to get some more Aussie stuffs!

Aussie's do it better Posted Image

Probably cost about 350-400 for the pair if those are stainless joints on the ends. Or at least that's what I'd pay for a set. CAZMAN stuff is excellent, just rarely available.

They look the same as 3rds production ones, although perhaps a thicker bracket on the end with these.

PS. Matt, when we have a cruise in SA next I'd love for you to take me for a drive in this JDM beauty! You owe me for that bolt ;)

Funny thing about that bolt! It didn't fit!
Had to run around to a few wreckers and find one that did. Jap stuff must be different.
Still owe you a ride for your effort then.

PS. I still have this guard here, you still want it?

Original S12 specific Royal Key, circa 1980's.

In other news, car is all aligned. Dialled in -2.0 degrees camber, +5.0 caster, and +0.5mm toe in. Car feels amazing to drive now!

And still after numerous letters to Nissan I have had no leads on finding out production numbers or any further information on the Full White. This has led me to try another option. I got my hands on a copy of the Nissan FAST software package, the software Nissan dealers use to find parts, and has a database of all Nissan's up to some time in 2003. In this database there are records of 90 Full White RS-X's, with the first one being made in November 1986 and last one in March 1988. I'm not sure how accurate this number is, but so far it's the only number I have.

you just keep adding to the old school kool that key is awesome does it work in the full white or is for another 12 somewhere?

and right or not 90 is very limited and further adds to the special(ness) of the car lol

Wouldn't surprise me at all, regarding build numbers, Matty. By that stage, the popularity of the S12 was well on the decline. Look how many MK2s are left over here.

My bad. Fixed, +0.5 toe in.

Japan.

Having a cousin who is living in Japan and fluent in the language is handy. She has helped me find many S12 rarities.

and they're genuine??

Genuine Royal brand. Not Nissan.

Not much progress on the build lately, working away from home the last couple of months has not helped the cause. Will have a couple of weeks off for Christmas, planning to get stuff done then.

Cheers to Andrew (caraudiofoolery) for the interior parts, my interior is now complete.

Received some parts for the restoration, a new set of tail lights, and some exterior trim pieces that were a little worse for wear. These will finish off the exterior for the build.

Still waiting for a couple of bits and pieces, main thing being a pair of U.S market 200SX SE side skirts! Can't wait to get these bits, should make a big difference to the look of the car. Cheers to Colin and Gerry for helping out with the skirts, you guys have been awesome.

The car has been seen by a spray painter and panel beater, and has been quoted up to be painted and repaired. So during the Christmas break, given that all my parts arrive on time, the car will be going in for a fresh new coat. Will be painting it the original colour, Nissan white 326, and keeping true to the original paint scheme with the grey belt line trim and red pin stripe. This is the main thing I have been looking forward to getting done, I can't wait to have it looking like new again.

So not much more to say than that.
But here are some random photos shot with my juicy little 50mm f/1.8 Nikon lens...

That's all for now, more to come when some of these parts arrive and I get closer to painting the thing.

Peace.

Holy crap, it says Silvia on the passenger sensor display thing? I am quite jealous indeed. Does it light up?
