I got the NISMO fog lights all wired up the night before All Japan Day.

I also installed the new OEM stereo I have. Everything fits as it should, only problem is that none of the plugs in the US spec system are the same as the JDM units that should be there. Going to have to get my hands on a USDM wiring loom and splice it in to get it all working.

Next morning I was up early for All Japan Day down at Glenelg. Met up with Brad and we drove down the coast to the show. Parked up our cars and were set to enjoy the day.

The Full White next to Brads car. My fiance Sarah, myself and Kim chatting S12 in the background there!

I took a camera but didn't take any photo's of my car throughout the day. Lucky Kim had his camera snapping and got some good shots of the Full White. Thanks for the photo's Kim!

It was an awesome day, although super hot I copped a bit of sunburn, it was great to hang out and chat with friends and enthusiasts. A lot of people were interested in the S12's, a few not knowing what they were. My fog lights also managed to wow a few people. There were two other Gazelles on the day also, managed to have a chat with the owners.

It was a great show with just short of 400 cars, everything from old school Toyotas and Datsuns right up to an R35 GTR and Lexus LFA (which sounded incredible!). Will definitely be getting the car into the show next year, it's one of the best going around.

Thanks mate!

Talking with people and hearing their positive reactions and compliments toward the car justified the last 3 years and all the time and money I've pumped into it. It makes building this car worth it and motivates me to continue improving on what I've already achieved.

Looking good as always Matt! Spewing I couldn't make it to AJD to see the car in the flesh.

I think the Silvia badging in particular makes regular people realise that it's a worthy car of admiration and an important part of the history of Silvia's and Nissan's in general.

Hoping to be there next year with a few new additions! So if you can wait another year to see it haha.

People seeing it badged as a Silvia definitely brought them in for a closer look and a bit of a chat!

Last week I fired off some part numbers to Nissan to see what is available. Pretty much everything is gone in Japan. Was fortunate enough to score a brand new right hand side pillar emblem. Unfortunately the left hand side is no longer available.

Took the old girl out for an evening drive down the coast, beautiful sunset...

TWELVE_Sunset.jpg

I also have another batch of rare NISMO goodies on their way over from Japan at the moment, some awesome parts that I'm looking forward to fitting to the car.

And some more OEM Nissan parts on their way from the US.

Plenty of updates to come!

Thanks mate!

Some more OEM parts for the Silvia, this time a set of the original hub caps. These are second hand refurbished and came from the States, cheers to Andrew for helping me out with these. They are in great condition, all I really need to do is touch up the paint in the embossed Nissan logo and they'll be perfect.

Anyways, enough chat, pics...

And a grab from the Full White brochure showing how they look on the car.

Have you got some 15in steelies lined up for it?

I'm guessing S13 Silvia Q's or J's ones would be the same dimensions.

im usually naked anywayclothes are for rich ppl

Keeping an eye open for a set of them, nothing as of yet.
Keen to find some soon though and rock these hub caps, I love them!

Maybe try to find some with improved offset? In my experience stock steelies sit way too far inside the guards, especially at the rear. In fact you might be able to get a bit more width too :D

Gotta break some rules haha!

I like the silver how it is at the moment. I will wait until I get them on the car and see how they look, painting them white could be an option though.

For steel wheels you've got the option of almost every 4 stud Nissan (Laurel, Skyline, Bluebird, Cefiro) having the same 15" wheel sizes. Could even look out for a set of Galant wheels or something.

Whats the deal with engineering wheels over there? Could you buy a set of steel wheels and have the centres moved on them to lower the offset? Most of the 15x7" wheels are +40 or +38 i think, but there's the room to take them to a +10 or so.

^ I'd say they would put you in jail for that over here. You're better off running spacers lol.

Hardest part is actually finding the steelies. Most of them end up in the bin.

Wow, in NZ, as long as they are done by a qualified engineer they can be certified and legal. You can even make steel wheels from scratch, as long as they are qualified engineers who do it.
