Cheers mate.

If only those wheels were 15" they would be sweet!

Got tyres on the wheels and fitted the wheels to the car...

NISMO R6 + Toyo R888 195/55R15

Fronts sit perfectly, will measure it up for some bolt-on spacers for the rear so they match the front.

Will get some more photo's when I'm out again. Car is in dire need of a wash though, so will get photo's when it's clean.

So just the one for now...

Keen observers may also spot another new addition to the car B)

Cheers for the comments guys!

Yes, I managed to get my hands on a pair of OEM MKI Silvia rain visors. Fitted them up a couple of weeks ago and am quite stoked with them...

Here is a more angled photo of the car showing a little more how the wheels fit the car. Will measure it up and order some spacers in the next few days.

Bit more of a close up of the wheels. I have seen a picture of these wheels on a car with S14 4-pot brakes under them, so good to know when I upgrade in the future that bigger brakes will fit under these wheels.

The fitment on the front is mint. I am so thinking when Colin comes over I should try and make some time and head up your way and we can do a MKI and MKII RSX photo shoot

Beautiful man!
Always was a fan of your build.

Did the window visors come with all of the clips? Or did you have to find them?

The car carries the wheels well - definitely looks the goods, big cut above the TypeX wheels you were running before.

Hope the Left AND Right AND directional tyres didn't give too much headaches when fitting =)

Definitely sounds like a plan mate, will figure something out. Could meet half way (ish) in Canberra. Will be awesome to catch up and check out the red bandit and sink a few beers!

Thanks mate.

The visors came with all the clips, I just had to get some new fixings for them, so I got my hands on some nice stainless steel Allen bolts.

Cheers man. Great improvement over the Type-X wheels that's for sure!

Got the tyres all figured out, cheers again for delivering them, appreciated.

I have just ordered some 30mm hub-centric bolt-on spacers for the rear wheels, should get them sitting similar to the fronts. I have a feeling some guard rolling will be in order once they arrive.

Small interior addition. The original Silvia mirror was not in the best state, losing its mirrorness around the edges, didnt look too flash. Got myself a Napolex Broadway mirror from Japan and fitted it up, it just clamps over the existing mirror. This one is a 300mm convex mirror, and wow the difference is amazing, can actually see everything around me when I drive now. Would recommend one of these.

I also picked myself up some MKI Silvia RS-X wheels, going to clean these up and use them as a spare set for the RS-X when I want the factory look from time to time. Still debating whether or not to paint them.

dont paint them, just strip the clear coat off them and give them a good polish. it wont look as good as the machined finish but it'll be better than paint imo

Are they 15s Matt? If so, I'm jelly. I just bought a set of 14" gazelle wheels like these off brad Campbell for the exact same reason as you. I reckon it will be fun going stealth mode on a club sport or two.

The US and euro models also got 15s too didn't they?

Yeah they are 15x6" +34

Depending on the spec of the car determines what size wheels they came with. Pretty sure most US models got 15's, the higher spec JDM cars (R-X.G, RS-X and Turbo RS-X) all got 15's. Not too familiar with the Euro spec cars and their setup. The Full White RS-X originally came with 15" steel wheels + hub caps. Still on the hunt for a set of the original hub caps so I can go full original if I want to.

If the shipping wasn't so bloody steep, I'd be all over a set of these in 15". For now the 14s will have to suffice. I'm actually thinking my car will look pretty good with these wheels. They are my favourite of all the oem S12 rims

Where did you score yours from?

Wheels came from Matt (v1jilante), a member of the forums.

Which 14's did you get your hands on?
