I had a Clarion CD/MP3 unit in my old silver S12, with Pioneer 6in splits in the front doors, and Kenwood 6in coaxials in the rear holes.

Subs and amps are too impractical in a hatch. I thought about it for ages, but couldn't find a sensible spot to put them, without having to remove them should I need to stick heaps of stuff in the back.

I question to those with bigger then stock speakers in the front.

How did you get the to clear the window winders?

As i have a pair of alpine type s 6.5in splits i would like to mount in the front but they foul on the winders.

Any pics would be great.

Gotta love the SGL's for the extra space... Either way

I have a pioneer CD MP3 HU
and
2x 6" 180W RMS fronts and 2x 6" 200W RMS rears. All clarions.

Hope to finish making another parcel shelf and adding another 2x 180W 6" Clarions along with a custom boot mounted sub and 2 x Amps, a mono block and a 4 channel.

Nothing too over the top, but something nice, not planning on entering comps. Want to keep the weight down if i can.

JVC Headunit which im now bored with so getting a new one something from Pioneer that i can plug iRiver into.
Sony Xplod 6" splits with crossovers can't remember Watts all i know is when i got them they were the highest and most expensive.
Sony Xplod 6x9's in sealed enclosures screwed into parcel shelf (well the part of the shelf i have still other part got stolen)
Crossfire 12" Sub in box (which ill be pulling out soon to rip of the carpet and cover in leather and suede)
and Crossfire amp which just slides around on its own free will in the boot.

Oh and i put everything in myself so its done pretty dodgily ;) but still sounds nice.

S12Silvia, Any Pioneer CD Headunit with DEHP **** will be able to take an IRiver as you can purchase a cable (about $60) that allows you to plug RCA in via the stacker port.

anyways... I've started on the task of replacing stolen items...
Stolen > Replaced
DEHP 4750 MP > DEHP 4850 MP
Jensen 1200W > Alpine MRP-F450 4 x 100W RMS (according to alpine website)
Blaupunk 1300W > Audiobahn DUB (8001) amp for my subs

Adding in some better quality RCA's and another cable to hook the laptop in (theivs got that one too)

Also orderd a Vogels under cabnit mount for my 15" LCD, orderd from "the family" lmao... ahh the connections i have, lol.
