Well my application is done and done, ready to be sent off and payed for, so thats me pretty much confirmed, as soon as its sent.

Do we get sent anything back like details of when we have to get there on the Sunday to set up and whatever. And do they give us spots to go, because we are entering as a club i guess they will stick us all together in one spot.

I read on the application form that the $25 fee includes driver and one passenger for the Sunday show and shine.
What is the general admission fee for everybody else to get into the show and shine on the sunday?

Cheers,

Matty

Well I just went to fill out the envelope to send it off and realised that there is no address written anywhere on the entry form, thats heaps smart.
So looked up the Sporting Car Club SA website and i'm guessing I send it to there office address, which for anybody else filling out the entry form and wondering what it is, is this:

The Sporting Car Club of South Australia
51 King William Rd
Unley
SA 5061

Hooray :)

Entry to the event is usually about $5 for everyone young, old, retarded or anything else you can think of!

Hey Matty, are you getting your car judged?

5 bux is pretty good.
A few friends wanted to know how much it was to get in.
Gotta figure out who to take for free in the passenger seat, haha.

Nah, selected not to get car judged. You pay extra for that dont you?
You gonna get your car judged then mate or not?

I dont think i will, still wondering if the car will be complete in time for SCS atm. keep running into problems! Someone (maybe me) has lost lost/ placed in a safe place, my lock nut key

I have tried to whack a socket over it to try and get it out, and i think i have managed to stuff both the lock nut and the socket!

So its all up in the air atm! :)

Surely you will be ready for SCS, that was the plan all along!
You better anyways! :)

Good luck gettin ya wheels off or finding your lock nut thingy.
How much is left to do on the car, any updates on the progress?

Still got exactly a month to go mate, power on!

Well the engine is out, and the tailgate has been modified to suit the new taillights. kit has been trial fitted again to make minor mods, front gaurds have had a little bit of a massage but only minimal due to wheels being stuck on car. im going to drop by to see if i can get a few photos of the dust clad beast tomorrow after work, and hopefully they have gotten the locknuts off the car so more work can be done on it

i have fingers crossed that it will either be in primer, or be ready for primer by the end of next week ready for a rub down and paint.

Hmmm...

Starting to think I should hold off on the payment of my entry until we know for sure that your cars are gonna be ready for the SCS.

Don't wanna end up being the only S12 there!

ATM i am unsure, i will fill out an entry form, and pay for it.

I will be going to Perth on the 6th of November and i will be back on the 17th. So hopefully everything like paint and engine is done by then, i will have to hold out on my 5 stud conversion as well as i dont think i will have time to do it before then

Its going to be a very tight schedule and a mad rush to get everything done in time, and also have time to cut and polish it to make sure it has that extra shine to it

Ok got back from visiting the paint shop and the performance workshop!

Due to enlisting the best workshops for the job, i have been given the notice that it will be finished in time for me to go and pick up on the Saturday when i get back from Perth

All body will be looking super smooth and engine will be singing a brand new song soon enough!, all the required parts are on their way in and all should be ready for fitment at the same time as the engine.

So i will be filling out and sending off my registration form on Monday after work

I will hopefully be seeing you all there!

Cool then.

If Wil and RiN'Dz are confident that your cars will be completed, I will send off my application on Monday.

All looking good then for SCS.

Matty.

According to the application form:

$10 late entry fee applies for entries recieved after 10th November.

It doesnt say the latest date applications have to be in by, but im guessing you would wanna do it before then to avoid the gayness fee.
