1 Horsepower = 0.7457 kW

So:

100 Horsepower = 74.57 kW

and,

100 kW = 134.10 Horsepower

Jono, i think ur car is set at 14psi normally from what i remember, so you'd have a few extra horses than what u think.

Ive been told anywhere between 20-30% loss so i normally work it out at 20% as if anything that would be an under estimate.

so i guess 250kw@engine= 200rwkw

Has anyone got the dyno graphs they could post up?
And has anyone noticed any decent power gains from leaving all that ancy-fancy air con, voscous fan, powersteering and other crap off the CA18DET?

Thanks fly. So you could probably use the .74 conversion factor for hp to kw's for flywheel to rearwheel as a guesstimate I guess.

Well, since Club S12 is down, you guys get it first. Dyno sheets!

First one is of a VG30E S12. The second, RB20DET S12.

Stock swap, with a boost controller, the figure wont be so wavy and the number will be higher.

We are thinking that the ECU I'm running is from an Auto R32. My clip was originally an auto Skyline converted to a manual.

As for boost, just stock boost. But it cannot maintain the boost well. So with a boost controller, it should help hold and even out the boost.

The RB doesnt look particularly smooth... Is that because of the boost leak? or some other reason for that?

Why is there such a difference between the 3 runs too? Had you been tuning it in between each run?

No boost leak. But stock, the engine doesnt seem to hold it well for whatever reason. So with a boost controller (Greddy Type S), that will definately be smoothed out. And as for the difference, yes, there had been tunign between each run.

The only things that are not stock is the FMIC, custom turbo back exhaust and the one piece-drive line customed, yes, completely stock. When they went thru the program, the insterted the gear ratio of the RB20 tranny then factored in the S12 final gear ratio (diff.) of 3.711, then did the run with tuning in between.

Other than that, yes, it's a stock swap.
