hey guys i found 1, still deciding on whether to buy it or not. auto hatch. willl be (trying) to do the manual conversion if i buy it lol. still weighing up if i should hold out and try and find a manual gaz or not. if any 1 can post some tips or a list of things im going to need to do the conversion and where i might be able to get them, that would be great. and if any 1 wants to donate parts that would also be amazing. cheers heaps guys thanks for the help.

auto gaz's are easier to do a manual conversion when putting in a newer engine (ie. SR20)

to start with, you'll need to find a gearbox and a pedal box, they're the important things
not sure about crossmembers and tailshafts, but i presume they'll need swapping too

The pedal box is the hard part to find.

so .... just thought i would let you all know that i didn't end up buying it , sorry for the delayed post too. i ended up buying a 97 tf magna 5 spd for $1400 with a new engine. only because thats what i lernt to drive in. and there a half decent car once you get past the fact its a magna, they have some balls..... i clocked a dolla 65 in a 60 zone lol they have a fair bit of torque, it shocked me. lol. but indeed still looking at a gaz when i move out and have room for a project car. but im even still waiting on my magna its sitting in magnas are us in lilydale getting a new engine so i stiil havent set eyes on it. coz my brother bought it for me. so i will maybe post up some pics when i get her.

but thanks for the help with everything guys and sorry to dissapoint you with no gaz :D
