Mine was my thermo fans. The fan relay caused current to run through the permanent "on" to the switched "ignition" so not until the temp dropped. So essentually a turbo timer that opperated on the temp of the radiator. Just a pain when your needing to be quick on a hot day. :thumbsup_anim:

the ecu still gets power after i turn the car off , and thats why it still runs.but of late i have had 2 stall it because it just wont turn off
i have this wiring map here and i have put a test light on the ING saw (S1) and (:suicide_anim: they still has power after the key its turned off

The power source your feeding into the ecu is obviously not a switching power source. Find the power or "A" power source that is only on whilst the key is on....If you think you have already got that, what you need to find is where is getting alternate power from via a back feed, Possibly injector wiring or coil wiring, both of these have 12v feeds into them and are earth switched via the ECU................

Alarms are known to do it along with dodgy radio installs. If you have either, may want to check that too.

well with my lack of elec skills, i worked it out they had run the (ING saw) into the old one for the stock
ecu so i just cut it off and run it straight to the same wire as my stereo under the barrel, and it now turnes off! yay
thanks guys

mike.
