Speedo problems

Hey, heres my problem, my speedo reads at 10km faster than my actual speed, and sugestions on fixing it, it isnt the tyres i checked that 2day, anything else it mite b? any sugestions would be much appreciated, thanks Roy

Ok, it gets complicated.

Firstly, you could just accept it as 'Old Car Syndrome', or you could go to the trouble of establishing which diff ratio it has, and whether it has the correct speedo drive in the gearbox to suit that diff ratio.

None of mine have never been that accurate, either.

yeh, im kinda used 2 it now, and i rarely look at the speedo i just go by the sound of the engine, would have liked it fixed but only if it was an easy fix, lol, if it isnt, im not goin 2 worry about it.

Get larger tyres / rims... putting S13 rims on put my speedo to within 3kph at 110kph. :thumbsdown_anim:
