So i wanted to manually set my headlights at the height i need with the battery disconnected .... As soon as i connect the battery, they go back to normal .... Does anyone know how to keep the headlights half up when they are not on??? Its an 84' hatch

My MkII is still in intensive care :thumbsup_anim:

$5 to Umai Naa!! got me a rocker-switch to put in place of the stock dashboard switch
this allows you to adjust the height at any time (except when the lights are on)

Yep that's the one. I have to raise mine first then turn them on or they won't stop dancing. Gave the folks a laugh on Sat.

my lights, if I flick the switch on the dash they keep goin up and down on there own and don't stop until you hit it off! they used to do it with the passing light thingo, when u pull it back, and would only turn off when you put the lights on :speak_cool:.... they also close and open up again if you have them on and hot the accel button on the cruise control..
