So... you guys coming to the mainland to drive with me to SA?
I have a feeling it's your word against theirs, but it will be put on the records as you were "not convicted for hoon activity" which will basicly mean you'll get reemed if and when you do get busted by a cop, there'll be no clean record :s

Nothing ever came of it, half the stuff i was accused of i didnt even do, not a chance in the world. There was apparently more than one phone call ah hum, i was simply minding my own business on the highway, people must have been testing the new hotline. Besides, they didnt have my number plate either. The officer was very nice and ackowledged that the people had probably exagerated and nothing would happen unless the people who made the phone calls wanted to take me to court and could provide evidence that it was me. However, me and my car are now in the hooning database which is fantastic... For something i was never convicted of.
So the way the officer told me these hotlines work (or my interpretation based on what he said):
- Anyone can call, and then an officer is dispatched to locate a vehicle matching a certain description
- If the suspect if apprehended, they are told that they may be recieving a summons to appear in court
- No matter what, if you get pulled over for a hooning offence, suspect or guilty, you go in the hooning database.
If our local S12 driving police officer could spread some light on this, that would be fantasic
