A couple of my mates have seen an S12 "rally car" driving around the inner eastern suburbs of melbourne.
The car is regulary seen on malvern rd and has a red white and blue paintjob.

Just wondering if anyone on here has seen or knows anything about this car.

Its not the one he posted on here if thats what you mean, i saw it leave BP in glen iris the other day while my sister was driving my car , i tried to make her chase it but she wouldnt

All i know is it sounds na (possibly fj20), has a cage, the paint appears to be sanded back and the body needs a bit of work.

Jono, is that your car ive seen on occasion parked down luxton rd in south yarra?

ive seen a red S12 parked twice down luxton rd, with P plates, i put a note on it once, 2nd time didnt have a pen and paper

Nah it wasnt me. my car is silver on silver I park in the staff carpark at safeway, away from the general public.
less damage that way. except some wanker from work backed into me the other day

iv seen a red mk 2 coupe around Sale latly looks like a old bloke driving it, and has some rust in rear window, could of been a fj or ca18et but not sure did sound like turbo though

Gee that's interesting as Feral Errol (of datrats website) in Victoria had a red mkII original ca18det coupe he bought in from NZ, that he was trying to sell ages ago, I wonder if that's the car?

iv'e only ever seen 1 gazelle drivin on the roads. so no i ain't seen a rally car

excluding my cars that is. (which also is technicly a mates car) any of you guys want to set up a cruise ? i can get 2 maybe 3 of mine on the road with drivers. we could do a lesurely eastern suburbs cruise and end up in a playground down south of franga.

let me know, i go on a mini cruise or games nights once a week.

ahem the D is for drifting not my name you might give people the wrong idea by calling me that lol yeh i found the website and settled in. we should do a photosuite of our gazelle's, might make a good signature.

yeah it would be a good photo if we could get all or most o fthe melbourne gazelle owners together for a photoshoot it does not matter weather urs in good or bad nick the more the merryier then maybe go for a cruise after give us some feedback on the idea and i will put up a post and we will c how many poeple we can get together

One of my mates saw a red gazelle with "factory turbo badges" parked in a street near his house. it has also been spotted driving around the malvern / caulfield area. maybe this could be feral errol's old car

I've seen this rally car driving around its got a ca20e and i fu**ing ripped him the thing is rough as just a bit of a tack mobile. he had his window down and i was talkin to him he just asked what engine i was running, this was in st kilda on the way to pick up my 180sx

nice i wish peopple would work thier engine rather then just doin a paint job and being a show pony with no hp

i have still seen a light blue notchback, crusin around rowville it sounds tough with a big wat ch ch ch, defiently turbo, who ever it is sounds great

well i wouldn't say my engine has been "worked" my s12 is just a pretty much stock cruiser except for rims and paint and all brand new suspention. but my paint looks sh** now including the Rust spots and the lovely addition a fellow shopper put on my front bumper, a nice big hole from a tow ball!!
