Im Cam and I drive a POS silver over grey hatch. I'm from the launnie area , and I'mpretty easy to spot due to primer patches everywhere.

A new gazelle is in the works but schooling and job setbacks have made it frustratedly slow but thats a story for another day

thought i would give an update on my gazelle!!!

now had s13 coil overs, r31 control arms and castor rods. el falcon shocks in the rear and chopped vn commdoore springs.

car needs new bushes and then the diff is going to be welded.

i brought a CA18DET thats currently in bits in the garage awaiting me to get off my lazy ass and located a cheap VRS kit to replace all the seals an gaskets, ones everything is nice an fresh on the CA18DET its going in the gazelle engine made 160rwkw with a bigger turbo, zorst and FMIC as well as a re-tune by dr. drift. should be fun - thanks to the stimulous package ive got the cash for the VRS kit. theres one in QLD for $150 but im not sure as he hasnt gotten back to me yet and they are about $450 delivered from USA.

I probably should update me too, the old grey S12 has gone to the yard where it sits waiting to have bits pulled from it lol and i now have a bronze/orange/red/copper (you pick one) sitting on some challengers for the time being, its stock as a rock besides my pod filter but its so much better then my old one its not funny lol just need money to throw at it now

hey were u at rnd 2 of Drift tas last weekend??? parked behind the pits?? there was a goldy/brown/bronzey s12 hatch with some wheels on it - i walked over with some mates to take a look at the gazelle. im the big dude in the bud beer jacket with the big hair, if i had my s12 there i would have driven down to park next to it/you but its currently getting the front mount and side pipe fabricated

im hoping to actaully drift mine once its finished! picking it up tonight. the FMIC would not fit to so its just running a cross-over pipe and side pipe lol... not to confident on the current tune as its very aggressive and was tuned with a large FMIC. so im going to back the timing right out of it and run octane booster. company bonus paid to me on the 20th tho so its weldy, full zorst and FMIC AND INSURANCE once thats paid to me

Got my new coilovers today! Just need to sort out some brake lines and Ill throw the gtr stoppers and front coils in, will be ideal.

thought id give an update on my car. got the head done, used a ca18de VRS kit, new timing belt water pump ect...

then 100kms of driving the cyl 1 big end bearing gave up >.< so the engine is back out and is at tas engine reco...

should have 170 rwkw once rebuilt with the external fuel set up.

going to use it for daily driving as well as some track work starting on the september practice day

update: got my gazelle back last night! freshly rebuilt CA18DET with ACL race series rings and bearings, 1.3mm ACL metal head gasket, ARP head studs (2 washers required, it leaked otherwise), T28, FMIC, 2.5 in mandrel bent zorst...

plus ive got the s13 suspension in the front (really creaky actually, needs bushes) and hybrid commo/falcon rear

My update is battery to the boot this weekend along with hard wired fuel pump with relay and shizzle, i have lost half the points on my licence and if i get booked for speeding in the next two years i lose licence instantly.

I also hit a guidepost last night. That was big. My rear passenger wheel was not touching the ground it was hovering over a 2m deep drainage hole next to the side of the road for a split second while i kept up it and momentumed out of it. My front lower trailing arm mount took the hit lol.

Good times, nice post marks up the side.

Threw one of the FJ engines back in the gaz last weekend.

Fired it up and took it for a squirt last night. Yup it's still quick and full of awsomeness

Pretty pumed DA is on next month.

yeah i had to switch to "linear" view to see it propperly...

me and my friend are buying a "spare bits" gazelle from lanny for $200 next month i reckon so u can pillage some bits off that if ur in need... i only want the trailing arms as they have new bushes and he wants the front brakes (slotted R31)

loving my CA18DET conversion tho cant wait to get an EXT. fuel pump in there and crank the boost

If your grabbing another S12, id be keen on bits like diff, axles, gearbox (manual) annnnnd bonnets and guards lol

Ah just went and actually rubbed my hand over the passenger door, its got a few small dents in it lol. Oh well. Pig or pose, not much of a choice in my book.

all - my cars goin to hell ca20 is pretty much dead constant blue smoke dunno wat it is with my ca20's but theyve both been crap lolweighing up option on what to do till i can afford a new engine

brian - im keen as to come up my bank account not so much, if i have some spare $$ ill be there mate
