thought i would give an update on my gazelle!!!
now had s13 coil overs, r31 control arms and castor rods. el falcon shocks in the rear and chopped vn commdoore springs.
car needs new bushes and then the diff is going to be welded.
i brought a CA18DET thats currently in bits in the garage awaiting me to get off my lazy ass and located a cheap VRS kit to replace all the seals an gaskets, ones everything is nice an fresh on the CA18DET its going in the gazelle
engine made 160rwkw with a bigger turbo, zorst and FMIC as well as a re-tune by dr. drift.
should be fun - thanks to the stimulous package ive got the cash for the VRS kit. theres one in QLD for $150 but im not sure as he hasnt gotten back to me yet and they are about $450 delivered from USA.
thought id give an update on my car. got the head done, used a ca18de VRS kit, new timing belt water pump ect...
then 100kms of driving the cyl 1 big end bearing gave up >.< so the engine is back out and is at tas engine reco...
