Specs

Price - $400
Make/Model - nissan gazelle
Year - 1984
Type - notchback/coupe
Colour - White (painting black hopefully sometime in the near future, once its ready for the roads.)
Transmision - 5 Speed Manual
K's - 230,000 (aorund there i cant remember)

Engine - CA20E (will be modifying to a CA18DE/T in the future, not sure if i want it turbo'd or not yet)
Exhaust - Stock, but i have lukey extractors and 2"catbackexhaust waiting to be fitted.
Suspension - Stock, no idea what plan on getting later (sh** with this stuff, WILL NEED YOUR HELP!)
Brakes - Stock, also no idea and im also gonna need your help with what to choose.

Mods - currently only has a nissan sport racing steering wheel, plan on upgrading the suspension
to what most people do, the s13 coilovers, and waever else, will definatly need help with that, umm
extractors and exhaust to be fitted soon, may get a nice clutch and flywheel, once i get myself
a CA18DE/T, engine transplant will be the last thing i do until the car is raodworthy, will need to save
up enough cash for it, etc.. need to get myself a new stereo and rims, also only getting done once the
car is on the roads. anyways, i have quite a few plans for it, and will be updating slowly cause im way
to poor to get stuff done but once the exhaust is in and once i get the engine running ill take some pics,
and also maybe a small video

the car is extremly dirty right now, it was standing outside the previous owners house for a long time
and well, it obviously bcame dirty :D. its fairly straight except the drivers side quater panel, but i have
one to replace that with, a bit of rust happening around the seals on the front windscreen, doesnt leak,
but will end up leaking if not done up, umm... what else.. i will be its third owner, first owner was an old
lady, than second owner was a midle aged man who nurtured the car, but ended up blowing the piston
rings, than replaced them and had wrong timing done, and it broked, so ill be looking into that and getting
that fixed, yea.. any questions, just ask me. oh the interior is in like excellent condition, apart from the
door handle area and below that, its like crappy-ish on both sides, but its nothing major and carpet is a little
dirty, nothing a a good wash wont fix... would like to find a replacement door trim in blue for both sides
though, anyone got them in brissy, pm me .

PS; it has a crappy tow bar that im going to be removing, anyone who lives in brisbane or around here can
pick it up from me for $20  with all wiring and crap... i have no idea if it works though :P pm me if your
keen on getting it, its gonna go in the bin if no one does want it... our van already has a tow bar and we dont
need another car with one. not to mention i cant picture a gazelle towing anything, lol.

I've got bits and pieces off a blue SGL door, as well.

Don't have the whole trim, wrecker broke it somehow when they removed the door from the car.

From what I can see the drivers side trim looks not to bad, (hasn't got the usual rotten top etc, looks like someone has recover the top at some stage as you can't see the little chrome plastic strip along the bottom edge of it and there's a srew under the lock button holding it on), carpet trim at the bottom has one or 2 stains you could maybe clean off and you could maybe glue the arm rest down again.

What's the LHS one like?

I only have a LHS one and as I said its new still in the nissan box and plastic wrapping. Its no good to me as its blue and I have 2 new tan/grey door trims on my car.

thnx A9X, crap thing is its got a blown head gasket from what i was told, and
screwed up timing, which fu**ed it up.

Gerry, well there both in half decent condition, but i honestly dont want to go to
all the trouble of buying glue and sticking down, and i dont exactly want to mess
anything up.. cleaning the carpet would be to much of a problem i know but still,
im lazy... and yes the whole top part is in 100% condition, everything below the
armrest just bugs me, and it kinda smells too, another reason i wanna get new
ones... and yes im am really keen on getting the one you have in a box, how
much were you after?

New Pics (car is actually clean now, and i used a bucket! took ages):

aint it sleepy looking without the grille and the parkers?
Posted Image

mmmm sexy vents!!!
Posted Image

Please note, if you look to the left you will see the nose of a white hatchback
gazelle that has been completly stripped, also note the blue gazelle
notchback/coupe on the road, i hope you enjoyed the tour of my front yard.
Posted Image

heres some of the damage on the lhs door trim, not much but it smells funny
but the car itself smells NEW!
Posted Image

heres a good look at my seats, wow arnt they really clean looking? and no
rips at all, woot!
Posted Image

anyways, enough of the narated images id just like to say, when you work
on your first car, you think differently what your gonna do with your next ones
it teaches you a lot, on my first one i bought rims stereo to early, and wasted
money on all that, rather than getting the thing working a lot sooner! so yea
try and get it running first than get the bling :P

oh i just took them off cause my cable to open the bonnet isnt connected properly, and i cant be bothered sliding my hand my in the airvent at the bottom and trying to find the thing to open it, so i just took em out for now, ive got good condition parkers and a nice grille set aside so yea :P nothing to worry about there. so that makes umm... 5 sets of parkers in total :P 2 sets going to be sent to america for draco and his mate.. 1 perfect set left for myself, 1 on the hatch already and anotehr set that came off the coupe... waiti have 6 sets! some i took off a coupe at a wreckers :P
