Adding to the growing list of S12 products, we've managed to find an individual who was quite happy to share with us one of his products, which I am very sure will catch the eyes of many. Darren, who resides in the UK, produces an S12 key fob and makes them available over on eBay. Having spoken to him, he was more than happy to produce as many key fobs as is requested by the S12 community. Having expressed an interest in his product and his gratitude of us helping him out by way of this blog, he spoke a bit more in length about his experience with an S12. It was in his youth his neighbour happened to have one and even at that time, he could tell there was something about the chassis as he was impressed by the styling and detail of the chassis. The impression stuck with him as he toyed with the concept of producing something in the future that pertained to the S12 chassis. Having not owned one personally, it did not matter for he knew it was something that was worth the effort.

Needless to say, it is great that the S12 chassis had such a profound influence on an individual as years later he was willing to produce a key fob without previous assistance or requests from any of the larger S12 fan groups. For under £3 (not including shipping), one can obtain their own S12 key fob. For those who are outside the UK, be sure to drop Darren a line so he can calculate the appropriate shipping for you. And if there are requests for large quantities, be sure to get a hold of him for that as well.

Just in time for 2012, S12Silvia.com has produced a calendar for the upcoming year. After much work and insuring that the international community was well represented, S12Silvia.com’s inaugural calendar has 12 months of some of the best S12s in the community representing eight countries spanning the globe.

In addition to each month displaying an S12 in fine form, there is a map of the world indicating as to where the owner originates from with corresponding flag of their nation.

The calendar is printed on standard on an A3 size 200gsm satin art. For those not familiar with the size of an A3 paper, the dimensions are: 11.7″ x 16.5″ (297mm x 420mm). It is wire bound with a built in hanger at the top as to insure its longevity as you flip from month to month without that usual tear as many calendars experience that lack a hangar but rely on a hole in the calendar itself.

The packaging of the calendar is quite spot on as well. Taped in place within a fitted box to prevent accidental crushing or bending, despite the additional price, it is very well done and the shipping is quite timely.
